When I first saw the work of Leslie Sinclair, owner of Segreto Finishes, I was mesmerized by her plaster finishes, wall treatments and cabinet finishes.
(Designer: Tami Owen)
A room touched by Segreto is transformed from ordinary to extraordinary under her careful direction.
(Designer: Tami Owen)
A true artist and accomplished business woman, she oversees a staff of 25 and her company, Segreto Finishes, creates some of the most coveted rooms today. Leslie recently released a new book, Segreto – Secrets To Finishing Beautiful Interiors, a wonderful book that has the blogs and Pinterest buzzing. So when she contacted me and asked if I would I like to review a copy, of course I said yes. Then I asked her if she would also be willing to host a Giveaway for you, and she generously agreed.
(Designer: Kara Childress Architectural Consultant: Sara West)
As I was enjoying page after page of this lovely book I was struck by the beauty and peacefulness her interior finishes convey. Segreto’s trademark favors soft neutrals, texture and depth, over bright colors.
(Designer: Talbot Cooley)
The book is a gorgeous collection of page after page of dream interiors. As a coffee table book for inspiration, its worth its weight in gold.
(Joyce Horn Antiques)
But, the book also provides wonderful tips, hints and insider information on choosing the best finishes for your own interiors. This book ranks as one of my favorite design books of the year!
Thanks to Leslie Sinclair’s generosity, a lucky reader will be receiving this treasure soon. To enter to win the gorgeous Segreto – Secrets to Finishing Beautiful Interiors book just visit Segreto’s website HERE, come back and comment which finish inspires you. I will announce the winner next Friday!

Hello,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting this fabulous giveaway! I found myself glued to Leslie Sinclair website for two days since Cote de Texas posted an article about her.
Amazing job.
I love her Decorative finishes section. The finishes are so elegant and enchanting, never overly done, never too feminine... Love, love work of this amazing artist!
I would love to have this book if...
Thanks for the fun opportunity.

I love the plaster finishes in her rooms. The untrained eye wouldn't be able to decipher where the magic emanates from but you and I know it is from the soft whisper of the walls. Her plaster finishes give depth to an otherwise flat plane and the art work is complimented by the subtle colors that seem to move on the surface. I want to touch them they are so beautiful. All the best, Paula
ReplyDeleteBeautiful interiors. Cant wait to see pictures of high point.
ReplyDeleteThe subtle tones and depth in the plaster finish is the reason it is by far my favorite. I have always admired plaster finishes and would love to learn how to apply them the right way-which is why I would love to own this book. Thank you for the opportunity. wood9775@msn.com

ReplyDeleteI love the reflective finish on the ceilings. Stunning works of art.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't choose between the decorative finishes and the furniture finishes - they are so tastefully done - not pretentious and so beautiful! What beauty! My fingers are tightly crossed.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the train kid's room. I can just imagine a kid climbing up the yellow ladder into the bed, watching his train appear from the dark tunnel. The colors are wonderful and it is genius to use the train wheels to keep a little one from falling out of bed. The colors of the room are sure to captivate any child.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the kid's room with it's bright colors and wall mural of the train exiting from the tunnel. What kid would not enjoy climbing up the yellow ladder into his own train engine to go to sleep. It is true genius to use the wheels next to the bed to keep little ones from falling out of bed. The colors are just joyful!
ReplyDeleteI own the book so no need to count me in but just wanted to say I too am a fan of their magnificent work!! You highlighted some of my favorite rooms that they have done.

Absolutely stunning! I love the chandeliers paired with the brick chimney. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis book is not a coffee table book...it is a dream book. I love the plaster walls. So calming and meditative. The work in her finishes is obvious yet everything seems subtle, nothing overstated or garish. Just my style. I would love to win a copy of this book!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
All of the finishes are beautifully done! I used to have a decorative finishing company so I tend to be critical of finishing, however this is top notch! Really well done, classic techniques, very timeless. I especially love the plaster work, it feels very European, and soft not jarring! Very impressive!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the kitchen cabinet finishes. Also the gilt in the powder room! Spectacular! I'd love to win this book!
ReplyDeleteI too am in love with her kitchen cabinet finishes. I know I would spend hours pouring over the beautiful pictures in this book.

Love the plaster finishes on the walls. Love Segreto blog and would love to win the book.
ReplyDeleteHello Gina~
ReplyDeleteThe rooms you highlighted are fabulous! Although I love Segreto Finishes & Leslie's work, it is the marriage of the designers she works with and Segreto's beautiful backgrounds and accents that is truly amazing to me. It is always so seamless like the hand or mind of one person.
Thank you to Leslie and to you for the generous giveaway.
Hugs~
I love Segreto finishes! I had seen all of that recently when I discovered I loved her work in a showroom here in Houston. All the distressed blue/grays on cabinets, I love. Can't decide which one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI just found you through Leslie and a year ago I found Leslie through Joni Webb! I an enthralled with Leslie's glorious work. She is a one in a million! I'd be thrilled to win her book!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to pick a favorite finish. All of Segreto's finishes are breathtaking. However, I must say that I'm particularly fond of their white furniture finishes that resemble lime paint. I wish I could duplicate that look on one of my pieces. I'm definitely asking for the book as a Mother's Day present :)
ReplyDeleteLeslie is SO talented! LOVE her plaster finishes but also think her decorative designs are just exquisite!
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are the powder rooms. The painted designs are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the bold, decorative floor designs. Beautiful! I am currently painting my daughters new home. If I had Segreto's book, I think I would have the inspiration to put my dreams on her walls. sduke8739@gmail.com
