Off Season on the Island!

This weekend Dave and I are in Martha's Vineyard to attend a wedding. What a beautiful place the island is, especially during the off season when most of the summer crowds have gone.
Here are a few photos of the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown where the wedding will take place.
Weddings always stir up feelings of happiness, hope and excitement for the future. It's turning out to be the most spectacular day for a wonderful couple.
And some great R&R for Dave and I. Wishing you a wonderful and relaxing weekend as well!

  13. I'll be in Nantucket next month for my brother-in-law's wedding. I love being there in October...also the off-season. I'm really looking forward to the touch of Autumn we'll enjoy while we're there. Glad you had a good time at your wedding celebration.

  14. Looks beautiful. If you have time, I spent part of the day biking the "Shining Sea Bike Path" in Falmouth. It is absolutely beautiful as you ride by cranberry bogs, ponds, marshes, the ocean and finish the 10.6 mile bike ride at Woods Hole. The path starts at Route 151/Route 28 intersection and you can rent bikes right there. A lunch or snack recommendation in Woods Hole is "A Pie in the Sky"

  19. Gorgeous location and perfect time of year to enjoy it all. Someday I hope to visit (grew up on the East End of LI) and never was organized enough to go while living up north. Now, after seeing these images it even has me itching to go even more. Thank you. Hope it is a fantastic enjoyable fun time. xo

  21. Thank you for taking me to Martha's Vineyard today. I spent a couple of summers there after college and since then it has been a place I daydream about. Seeing your photographs takes me back there and into the spirit of being young and carefree.
