It's been a crazy few weeks. I have been in and out of the hospital and had lots of tests. Luckily we have ruled out all the major ailments - and for that I feel very blessed.
I have spent a lot of time at home nesting... I promise to be back soon when I am back on my feet with photos of some of my new projects. xx-Gina
Dear Gina,
ReplyDeleteMaybe the way hospital design will improve is when a designer has to stay in the hospital. I'm glad you're back home with your family. I'm sure that having some time to enjoy your beautiful conservatory will do you lots of good. Get well soon!
Jane
I hope you are back to feeling 100% soon!
ReplyDeleteOh, my! I hope you are completely better, very soon.

ReplyDeleteSpent 24 hours this past week in a similar looking room with similar results. We busy women need to listen to our bodies and definitely take more time to NEST! I couldn't WAIT to get home to my family and my warm and cozy home...away from the bad lighting and cold surfaces of that hospital room. Take good care.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon! We miss you!

* SO sorry to hear you've been to "THAT" place, & am sure LOTS of people are rooting for you!!!... I know I AM!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave just recently "been there, done that..." and I say "no thanks"!!!... The first day I was in for a broken back (in two places, no less... Hey! I'M NO slouch! Grins!), I was asked what more "they" could do to alleviate the pain & make things easier on/for, me... my ANSWER???? A nice, warm smile accompanied by a pleasantly stated "Pleeeeease, GET A DESIGNER IN HERE, QUICKLY!!!"...(Honestly, you have to BE "on drugs" to handle those UUUUUGLY spaces, huh???)...
May He be with you, my friend!
Warmest,
Linda in AZ *

ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteI hope you getting well. I do not understand the ugly hospital look either. My blog stresses that everything can have a function and still have style. Are you noticing that you are using your home differently now that you are not feeling well?
Karisha

ReplyDeleteGina, I am glad all was scare and not the bad news you must have been fearing! Wishing you a sunny autumn and a bright outlook ahead!
ReplyDeleteI always wonder why hospital rooms are often so drab. One can keep it basic and make it more inviting. It's usually bad enough to end up there!
