A Little R & R

The kids are on vacation so we will be busy having some family time.

I will back soon with an “Artist Spotlight” – But here is quick sneak peek of the painting I just picked up in NYC this weekend!

    The painting is lovely. It looks spiritual or ghostly. Is it the nave of a church? Watercolor? The colors are gorgeous!

    Its a beautiful painting, could be one of the Spanish cathedrals, or Rouen perhaps. It is in a wonderful impressionistic style, reminding me of Monet!
    An architect could have done this work. I am not so familiar with American contemporary painters to pinpoint the artist! But the longer I see it, the more I like it! Maybe a Spaniard or French painter! Just lovely!
    Looks like a pastel to me!
    You must be happy!

    We love this painting...it reminds us of the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. My memory recalls the details and how time appropriate with Mardi Gras being tomorrow. Les le Bon Temp Roulais!
