I have long been a fan of Designer, Lisa Teague from New Hampshire. Her beautiful work was introduced to me by the fabulous interior photographer, Jamie Salomon. Above is a peek into Lisa’s gorgeous Living Room.
Her color palette is so beautiful, soothing and soft without being too monochromatic. So often we see soft color palettes that turn boring, but Lisa has an extraordinary talent to turn a soft color palette into an exquisite room.
Here is another angle of the living room – notice the pop of blue on the legs of ottoman. The blue is echoed more softly on the back wall and on banister by the stairs. These are lovely ways to introduce a pop of blue and then soften it by adding paler shades elsewhere in the room.
I love her country kitchen with blackboard wall and open shelving. Notice the addition of the floor runner to add a bit of blue.
Another shade of pale, gray blue in the bedroom.
I adore the antique linen chair.
It is no surprise that Lisa is also writes a wonderful blog on color and design called Color Gypsy you can read it HERE. You can see more of Lisa Teague’s work on her website HERE. Also to see more incredible interiors visit James Salomon Photography HERE.
What do you think readers, doesn’t this home embody a dreamy spring day?

I could see myself being very much at home in this room! I love the pop of blue on the ottoman! Very springy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Stunning! Love the color palette!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spaces....xv
ReplyDeleteThe interiors are absolutely stunning and very feminine, love her color choices.
ReplyDeleteLove the soft, muted colors. Very nice!!
ReplyDeleteHope your having a wonderful weekend!
This just says spring has arrived and here I am in all my glory. I love it...you can almost feel the fresh breeze blowing on through....so soft and airy and light. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat living room is DREAMY!! I absolutely love it! It embodies all that I love right now - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteso pretty!!!! i love the touches of blue.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I just love the kitchen with the chalkboard and open shelving. The touches of blue are so inviting.
ReplyDeleteLove the art work on the wall in the kitchen & the vignette in the bedroom with the antique linen chair, chest, etc.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!...the blues are perfectly fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors and I especially like that the rooms are something that a non-professional decorator could achieve. So many "decorator" rooms are beautiful, but the couch alone costs $10,000. Not really doable for the DIY type. Her rooms are very approachable.
ReplyDeletei also like the blackboard painted wall.
ReplyDeletegreat images!
Awesome rooms. I love the combo of the blues and greens, and whites. The living room is just beautiful. And I really love her kitchen with the chalkboard wall and open shelving. Great post!
ReplyDeleteHi my friend,
ReplyDeleteI need more colors at my home, period! And green is actually starting to grow on me. That painting is stunning.
Warm hugs,
Mon
Thanks so much for featuring my home--your blog is beautiful and I'm happy to add it to my list of inspirations--To answer some questions I have received from your readers--all of the paint colors are my own and will go into wide release in late May--Our paint line is Quiet Home and is a 0 VOC, non toxic paint--We are also launching Quiet Nursery, which is a collection designed specifically for children's spaces..The house is tiny--only 640 square feet, so color was used to expand the space--Your readers will be able to see more in the June issue of Country Living. Again, thanks so much for the nice post and also to your readers for all of the sweet comments--Lisa
ReplyDeleteOoooh thanks for introducing me to Lisa's work. It's great. Going to check out her blog now! I've just found your blog and love it, looking forward to reading more! Martine
ReplyDeleteI liked Lisa's colors but I couldn't help noticing that the seagrass rug was too small for the room.
ReplyDeleteVery nice living room and bedroom! The colors matched what is suppose to be a calm, relaxed and simple home! Great post, check out also 3D Rendering

In my opinion, the living room has the most perfect Swedish pale greenish gray. It's exactly the color I have been looking for! I NEED that color! :)
