Red, White and Blue Decorating

ben moore (2)

On the Fourth of July I love to show images that I have been collecting of Red, White and Blue decorating! Here is a favorite - I adore this boys room, especially the sail!

Of course this antique Union Jack flag becomes artwork when hung above a beautiful blue velvet sofa.

I love this clever idea of using an oar as a curtain rod and a flag as a curtain! Whimsical and fun!!

Small flags in red, white and blue prints liven up these built in beds, but its the boat flags painted on the floor that really caught my eye!

Finally a bright blue checked floor and trim turns this porch from blah to bold!

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

I hope you have "landed" (and not only in a mountain of laundry) after your wonderful trip to Italy. I will check in with you next week.

Happy 4th to you and your family! Be lazy!

  10. That kids bed in the shape of a sail boat is just amazing!
this is such a great idea and I will adopt it for our next remodeling project when we have planned changing our guest bedroom in a room that will be more appealing for our grandson to stay since he loves staying with us over the weekends so much.
I guess I just found my hubby's next DIY project. ;)
Best Regards and Thanks for sharing

  15. Hi, I love your blog!! I live in Germany and I have been on the hunt for a Mora clock and just read your old post about finding your piece in Munich. I can't seem to email you any other way, so trying to get in touch via the comment section. I am headed to Bavaria this weekend and didn't know if you remembered any shops down there. Thanks in advance, Andrea from chloescouture.blogspot.com or noggle6ingermany@gmail.com
