On January 12, 2010, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck near the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince. Each day the we hear more horrors of the tragedy and suffering there. Disaster response efforts are underway, and the total effects of the quake are as-yet unknown.

Thank you for posting about this horrible tragedy. It is important that we pause from our usual subjects when needed as the blogger community is quite strong when united. There is also a site called yelle.org that belongs to Wyclef Jean, who is from Haiti, that donates all proceeds to the cause.
